Start testing Smart Health Network

SHN’s test program is synthetic-data only. Do not submit PHI or production transactions to the sandbox. Production participation requires executed agreements, organization-authorized production credentials, and completed capability and launch checks. Testing is how you start; it doesn’t obligate you to anything.

I'm a payer

Give SHN access to the synthetic-data test endpoint you’re building for CMS-0057, name one engineer, choose one workflow. Provision access, and SHN can begin testing the selected workflow.

I'm a provider or health system

Sign up for the sandbox — it’s self-service — and see the standardized workflow run against synthetic patients. Nothing deploys in your production environment to begin testing. Production is reached later, your way: an embedded workflow in your existing system, an organization-authorized gateway, or a certified operator running that gateway for you — with your EHR vendor, HIE, or revenue-cycle firm supplying or operating whichever path fits.

I'm an EHR, HIE, RCM, or integration partner

Everything is public: the protocol, the SDK, the open-source gateway, the reference implementations. Run the kit, inspect the code, and tell us about your organization — certification demonstrates capability for the specific job certified and qualifies your organization to compete for that work.

I'm a state

Bring payer and provider test participants, request the six-step commitment package, and schedule a state briefing.

I build patient or consumer applications

Help design the patient layer. Join the Consumer App Design Group shaping the patient activity model, authorization pattern, and app trust framework. Current status: design collaboration; synthetic-data testing only.
